This week on the Quinnipiac Athletics Podcast, hosts Dan Bahl and Matt McAuliffe sit down with Kayla Jensen, junior outfielder on Quinnipiac’s softball team.
Dan, Matt and Kayla talk about growing up in Miami, and what caused her to transition from gymnastics to softball. They talk about her first commitment story, what caused her to come to QU, the importance of family and mentors in her life and more.

This week in Bobcats history, we’re throwing it back to roughly one year ago today, February 15th of 2019.
Ushering in the new era of Quinnipiac softball, first year head coach Hillary Smith, then Hillary Barrow, picked up her first win as head coach of the Bobcats, a 5-2 win over Holy Cross.
In the game, Rebecca Drake went 2-3 with 3 RBIs, friend of the podcast Kayla Jensen went 2-3, and Kendall Brundrett picked up the win on the mound.
