The Rules of the Show
Andrew Finlay Stewart
24 episodes

I’m Andrew Finlay Stewart, and I’m the host of a new podcast called The Rules of the Show. I’ll be talking to guests about rules they like and rules they hate, from board games and sports, to legislation and regulation, laws of physics or fashion dos and don’ts. Anything from biblical Thou Shalt Nots to household rules they grew up with.

But that’s just the beginning. Every episode, my guests will introduce a new rule for the podcast. We’ll debate and discuss it, and then add it to the rules of the show, changing the podcast forever,

I predict some of these new rules will be silly and small, and some could fundamentally change the nature of the show.

But I don’t know where this is going to go any more than you do, we’ll be along for the ride together. I hope you will join me in messing around with The Rules of the Show.

Phoning a Friend with Jon Jasper-Lawless

Musician Jon Jasper-Lawless of Swim Good Now joins us to talk all things some things Bylaws, including sidewalks, signage, and being chicken-curious. Plus we shout out lots of our friends, get into the theology of the wind and get inspired by Who Wants To Be A Millionaire (for Game Boy Colour).

You can find Jon's lovely music at swimgoodnow.bandcamp.com and jonlawless.bandcamp.com, and you can follow The Rules of the Show on instagram and bluesky.

...and while you're on the internet, why not send me an email at andrew@therulesoftheshow.com?
