Miles and I are grateful to take the opportunity to chat with two of the most prominent names in the running scene today and for the foreseeable future in Lex and Leo Young. In high school alone, these two have accomplished feats that many dream about and few will ever achieve. This conversation brought about compelling stories which highlight how the brothers developed their love for running through watching their older brother, Nico, their discovery of the standard of performance necessary for excellence, a bit more insight into the Newbury Park running culture, and much more! Who would have thought that these twins discovered the valuable skill of accountability through working manual labor around their neighborhood! All in all, the compelling stories and experiences that these two took the time to share with us will hopefully help all those who are listening gain a greater understanding about who these two brothers are now, and what they strive to be through their experiences in running.
