CADASIL Unveiled: The Hidden Link to Strokes and Migraines.
Welcome to the Savvy Safety Sisters PARTNERS IN PREVENTION podcast. In today's episode, we will be discussing CADASIL, a disease that is often misdiagnosed as MS or another neurological disorder.

My guest is Dr. Fanny Elahi, a physician-scientist with a doctorate in neurogenetics, a residency in neurology, and a fellowship in neurodegenerative disorders. Her work at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City involves researching the vascular contributions to cognitive impairment and finding ways to better protect the brain function of individuals with CADASIL, which stands for cerebral autosomal dominant arteriopathy with subcortical infarcts and leukoencephalopathy.

Dr. Elahi is dedicated to developing new therapies at The Elahi Lab to protect brain function and prevent dementia. She is an Associate Professor and a renowned expert in CADASIL.

You can find Dr. Elahi at ELAHI  LAB
