The concept of defence cooperation is linked to the foreign policy. There is a wide range of activities which involves defence cooperation, military to military cooperation is a part of it. This includes right from the top level, the ministerial dialogues, strategic dialogues, high level dialogues and commonality of the strategies and the national level. Defence cooperation is also a part of the overall defence diplomacy that a country engages in.
