On the live show I'd asked the trivia question, "Who was Uncle Meat?" The answer to that is Sandy Hurvitz, a young lady who drew Frank's attention when the Mothers were playing the Garrick. She subbed for Don Preston on keyboards one night when he was sick, and thus became a Mother.
