His proximity to Philadelphia opened the door to it's Hardcore scene at a very fertile time in it's history. Expanding upon a fandom of the music, he formed/joined bands, loved and lost, and ultimately rebuilt in the form of the wildly popular podcast The New Scene as well as his new band Memory Entry.
