Emaan and Nate have their final soccer game in Surrey. They’re both nervous while their mom gave them a stressful lecture on the lengthy car ride. During the game, the opposing team had a player who showed aggression towards Emaan and Nate. The referee, however, decided to leave the player and ignored the conflict. In the corner of Emaans eyes, he sees his mom yelling in the crowd for them to start stepping up their game. During half time, the coach gave a motivational lecture. The coach went to talk to the mom and she realized that the game wasn’t just about winning. It’s about sportsmanship and the lesson learned from that game! Her perspective changed. Using the moms and coach’s support the team was starting to do better. They won the game but they were mainly satisfied with how well they worked together as a team. That’s the most important aspect of a sport. Emaan and Nate were pleased with the play.
