In today's episode we are joined by Dr. John Lipman, an interventional radiologist practicing in Atlanta, GA who not only built his own private IR outpatient center, the Atlanta Interventional Insititue, but also has completed over 7,000 UFE procedures. Dr. Lipman explains his path in IR, and how he was able to start his solo practice and the Atlanta Fibroid Center. Join us as we learn about the technical and hollistic aspects of UFE as well as the tremendous push towards the educating the public about UFE via the #DontLoseYourU campaign. Dr. Lipman also discusses how to bridge the gap between OBGYN & IR to improve Fibroid Care for women and balance the ratio of hysterectomies and UFE in both IR education
