Sammy Baptista is a former professional skateboarder who became prominent with his debut part in the iconic Shorty's video "Fulfill the Dream,". This jump started his professional skateboarding career at age 15. With sponsors such as Shorty's, Diamond, Venture, Primitive, and Skate Sauce, Sammy's been able to create genuine connections around the world with the game of skateboarding. Skateboarding has always been about living life in the streets and so it goes hand-in-hand with Street Art and the culture that surrounds it. October of 2018, Sammy Baptista retired professional skateboarder, was seriously burned in an accident suffering 2nd to 4th degree burns on over 40 percent of his body. He was in a medically induced coma for 16 days. All of this while his wife, Stacy was 9 months pregnant. When he awoke after nearly 3 weeks he was called to translating his experience into art and a path to service in helping others.
