The Importance of a HBCU with Dr. Jonathan Solomon - Season 2 (Episode 5)

What is the importance of an HBCU? What makes them significant to the past, present and future?

During the conversation with Dr. Jonathan Solomon we talk about the battles our HBCUs face as well as the stigma that is attached to not only them but to black owned entities in general.

We also delve into his experiences from attending PWIs (Predominately White Institution) in contrast to attending HBCUs (Historically Black College or University). We share the pros and cons of each while embracing the toll each takes on mental/emotional health.

This is a great episode for people curious about their college or university options as well as those who would like more background information on HBCUs.

As always thank you for the support.
