Today we’re diving into The Lead Masks Case, one of Brazil’s most baffling unsolved mysteries.

In 1966, Manoel Pereira da Cruz and Miguel José Viana were found dead on Vintém Hill under extremely strange circumstances.

They wore lead masks, carried no weapons, and were surrounded by objects that made no sense for a normal day trip.

The case remains unsolved — with theories ranging from science experiments and radio equipment to spiritualism, poisoning, and something much stranger.
