Corinne Mitchell describes her pathway from early horse riding lessons to pursuing a degree in psychology and neuroscience at the University of Illinois. During her time at law school, she was actively involved as an assistant coach for the IHSA team, bringing her passion for horses into her educational pursuits. Upon graduation, Corinne faced the challenging environment of a large law firm but soon found her stride in a smaller boutique firm that allowed her to develop a niche in equine law. She emphasizes the value of internships, networking, and aligning career choices with personal passions, thereby offering listeners practical and inspiring insights.
