Anthony and Laurie review episode 3 of Strange New Worlds‘ third season, “Shuttle to Kenfori.” They talk about the three different stories—a zombie planet expedition with Pike and M’Benga, insubordination from Ortegas, and growing Gorn issues for Batel—and how they intertwine thematically. They also dig into some nitpicks about hair, mind melds, and Klingon costumes, and discuss Pike’s character arc plus the joy of seeing Una in command. There was also some breaking news which Anthony quickly covers regarding the Skydance/Paramount merger getting final regulatory approval.
