As a teen in America certain things are understood and are still swept under the rug. At some point enough is enough, us teens have a voice and for so long we've been afraid to use it. Now, that time is up, because the more we remain silent and depend on others to change the more nothing will ever change. It's time to stop holding others accountable and start holding ourselves to the flame. It's time to show that we are more than just numbers, more than just a stereotype, more than just a brainwashed group of individuals, and show that we are a group of change makers, a generation who goes against the messed up society our ancestors created and instead can come together as one and be the difference.
