Claudia Lawrence was a 35 year old chef from Heworth, York when she went missing in March 2009. Not. trace left as to where she had gone, or who had taken her. After 5 weeks missing, North Yorkshire Police ungraded Claudia's case from missing to a murder inquiry.
In the first episode, we'll cover the lead up to her disappearance and the initial investigation carried out, as well as the bombshell revelation police revealed on an episode of the BBC's Crimewatch that turned the case on it's head.
