Kristina, a ceremonial cacao facilitator, guides us through an opening ceremony before sharing her powerful journey from spontaneous spiritual awakening to the Peruvian jungle and her work with ceremonial cacao.
Kristina shares her story of going to the Peruvian jungle for a 9-day dieta (traditional shamanic purification), living in complete isolation on a purification diet with no phone, no comfort, no distractions. Just her and the medicine. It cracked her open in the most profound way, turning her eyes inward and showing her that the safest place to be is home in her body.
We talk about what ceremonial cacao actually is (and why it's different from chocolate powder), how to source it ethically, and why the cacao fat is considered the soul of the medicine. Kristina breaks down the integration process, and why it's not enough to just have the experience, you have to embody the changes in your daily life.
