Dr. Phan explains the differences between neuroendocrine tumors and pancreatic adenocarcinoma, emphasizing that neuroendocrine tumors are slower-growing and have a more favorable prognosis. She also highlights the importance of differentiating these two types of pancreatic cancer and educating patients about their condition.
