Today we discuss marine conservation on the Great Barrier Reef and the crucial surveys that volunteers are expected to undertake. Specifically, we will explore two surveys, Coral Watch and Eye on the Reef, that involve various tasks, including monitoring the reef's condition and collecting data on marine creatures like fish and turtles. In the previous episode, we briefly touched on these surveys, but today we’ll dive deeper into their significance and the impact they have on the future of the reef.
