Cycles of mental health and addiction can leave us crushed and hopeless. We can feel as if things will never change. This can also be true in trying to reconcile relationships. The spouse, child, friend, or co-worker will never change.... Yet we find in the third chapter of Jonah that change is available for everyone in Christ, and it can happen fast! You do not have to clean yourself up, but God will meet you right where you are. Check out this episode of The Way Podcast

Irrational Thoughts Jonah #3
Anxiety disorders can make us irrational. When we allow ourselves to think irrationally long enough pride, bitterness, and selfishness can begin to set in. This is not only damaging to us individually, but also to those around us. Jonah is a great example of what happens when the people of God do not behave with the heart of God. Following Christ with the heart of God is what grounds us and leads us to the humility needed to make the changes needed.
