About our Guest Laideen Dockery:
Laideen Dockery is the CEO and founder of Laideen & Co. Financial Group Ltd - A boutique firm that offers financial services and education to a predominantly female client base.
In 2004 Ms Dockery graduated from The University of Toronto and was invited to Hong Kong to further her studies on the economic landscape of the then-emerging city. Upon her return she began a career in finance gaining experience at various financial institutions. During this time she was exposed to a growing need for financial literacy among women, and in 2015 decided to open her own firm to pursue this initiative. As a mother of four, Laideen’s passion is to help women break through their fears and anxiety around building wealth in their lifetime and for generations to come.
In addition to servicing over 300 families in her permanent client-base, Laideen is also the co-founder of The Money Boss Up initiative where she facilitates workshops that provide financial literacy to millennials. She also enjoys public speaking and has been featured on many panels of note including Influence Orb in Montreal, Afrochic Toronto, FinLit, and The Community Innovation Lab in Durham region.
