De dochter van Marian Stoppelenburg, Sandra, werd op 5 mei2024 vermoord door haar partner.
Sindsdien strijdt Marian onvermoeibaar tegen femicide en bewustwording van de signalen die daaraan voorafgaan. Femicide is de meest voorspelbare moord, kunnen we het voorkomen en zo ja, hoe doen we dat dan?

In deze aflevering vertelt ze Sandra’s verhaal, over een gevaarlijke liefde die langzaam omslaat in dwingende controle, intieme terreur en over het belang van niet wegkijken maar durven handelen.
Want, zoals Marian zegt: “We moeten niet wachten op beleid of professionals: jij en ik kunnen iets doen.”

Een gesprek over verlies, verdriet en de weigering om een slachtoffer te blijven van de moordenaar van haar dochter.

Vóór de moord op haar dochter (5 mei 2024) werkte Marian Stoppelenburg ruim 30 jaar als docent communicatie en als zelfstandig trainer tekststrategie; deze ervaring gebruikt zij nu voor haar missie ‘vrede achter de voordeur’. Zij geeft lezingen, workshops en lessen over 'Levensgevaarlijke Liefdesrelaties' onder de vlag van Stichting SterkeTeksten (www.sterketeksten.nu).
