- Check for parenting groups, “cultural passes”, and lending/tool library, libraries often stock much more than just books)

- You get much more traction when you’re playing what the kids themselves are into! I was shocked to see how much more persistent my oldest was at learning mechanics when she got to play as characters/in a world she was already interested in.
