Running your first half-marathon can seem like a daunting task. All the miles of preparation, all the early mornings (and early evenings), all the workouts... None of that guarantees anything, yet we still go to that starting line every time to see what we're capable of.
🏃♂️ In this episode, we talk with one of Brian's oldest friends, Tim Scott, who shares his journey from a background in competitive powerlifting to taking on a half marathon! This past Sunday, he crossed the line at the Cambridge Half Marathon, but there’s so much more to the story than just a finisher’s medal!
🏅 Enjoy this special race recap as Tim shares his experience training for and running his first race, and Brian reflects on what it was like pacing for the first time!
