What happens when 2 social media therapists become BFFs?
THEY START A PODCAST!
Welcome to Therapists Out of Office.
Where we’ll be debunking the myth that therapists “have it all together” and bring you a behind-the-curtain look on what it’s like when your therapist is, well…OUT of their office!
It’ll be educational, informative and also FUN (and probably a bit off the rails)! Kinda like humanhood itself.
We look forward to hearing from all of YOU (you’ll be a big part of this, too). Don't hesitate to reach out and ask us questions along the way!

Therapy 101 Part 2 is a continuation what to expect in therapy, especially if this is your first time even considering it! As always, we asked YOU for any questions you might have about starting therapy, and as per usual you guys came through =D
We thought hard and long about each question, and here is the final product!
In this session, we cover:
Therapy Hangovers
How to talk about hard things
Is it unethical to speak to someone else’s therapist?
Why is there no improvement despite the therapist being understanding and caring?
My therapist mainly listens and doesn't talk - which isn’t working for me. Should I change or can they adapt?
How do I tell my therapist after 2 years I need someone new? How to “break up” with your therapist?
How do I know if my therapist isn't for me?
What do you do when a therapist invalidates you? Should I bring it up or find another?
Therapy uncovers issues but doesn't seem to offer any solutions…why is that?
Can I ask my therapist about their life?
Is it normal to avoid talking about things in therapy?
How long can you stay in therapy for?
We always welcome feedback and want to hear about your interpretation of the episode! What did you like? What did we miss? What would you like to hear more of?
Starting therapy can feel super intimidating, and we want to help YOU understand what to look for. :)
As always, thank you for being here! We are eternally grateful!
