Ginger West has lived her entire life in pain with autoimmune diseases, cancer, and now a terminal neurodegenerative illness called multiple systems atrophy. When she entered hospice, fear consumed her. She worried about suffering, about death, and about whether she’d been “good enough” in this life.
Then everything changed. During a stroke, Ginger says she left her body and experienced an overwhelming love unlike anything on earth. Her pain disappeared. Her fear vanished. And she knew without a doubt that her family and loved ones were waiting for her.
In this emotional and deeply comforting episode of There and Back Again – Stories of the Other Side, Ginger shares the message she was sent back to deliver:
Death is not the end. You will be welcomed. You will be loved. And you are never alone.
Her story is tender, brave, and unforgettable.
