We are Emily (she/her) and Alex (he/his), married American expats living abroad. One day we realized we didn’t crave the same things in life that everyone around us seemed to want. We were unhappy trudging toward some perceived security and decided to do something to change it. So, in 2021, we sold our house, cars, and almost everything we owned and became location independent. We are now full-time international slow travelers negotiating how to live the dream and a regular life at the same time. We explore the ins and outs of our nomadic lifestyle at the intersection of thoughtful discussion and absurd humor.

In this episode, we jump back in time almost a year to the summer of 2021. In July we became officially nomadic. How did we start our first month as nomads? Driving around the Unites States in 30 days, of course. We hit 15 different cities in 14 different states and drove over 7,000 miles over the course of one month.
