In this episode, we consider some important questions that are raised by the film we saw recently, Nuremberg. Do evil people exist? How far can we human beings go in the direction of good and the direction of ‘evil’. We look closely at the contrast between our incredible capacity for greatness, as our Godly soul finds manifestation in this world – and the darker choices available to us when we get lost in the craziness of our world and our own personal minds.
Do we all have the same level of freewill? And what makes some people choose one way and others another?
Our starting point is the poignant quote at the very end of the film, by historian R.G. Collingwood: the only clue to what man can do is what man has done.
