Zane Sabour: From Startup Weekend to Home Sweet Shed

Kia ora e te whānau! We're back for season 2 and we have a new podcast producer - Mac Wynne, one of our awesome rangatahi from Tāiki e! Next Gen who has a passion for sharing diverse stories. In this episode we are joined by Zane Sabour who participated in Startup Weekend Tairāwhiti in 2021, and took an idea of helping to ease the housing crisis in Tairāwhiti by developing DIY garage conversion kits for sleepouts. Within 54 hours, Zane and the team had created a working model and plan, and then set about putting into action turning ordinary car garages into insulated and lined sleepouts.  Check out Zane's story and the journey of Home Sweet Shed - from Startup Weekend to creating real impact in the community. Whakarongo mai
