Episode 23: Dear Mr. Why?

Welcome dear Listener. We hope you are having a good day. We wanted to start this episode with a trigger warning.

This episode discusses events that involve abuse and sexual abuse. If you or anyone you know is the victim of abuse, sexual or otherwise, we send all the love and healing to you.

This week Breanne reads a letter from an anonymous listener to their childhood abuser. Loz reads a letter to his dad who died December 2023.

Some topics we discus include:

  • Dreams about lost loved ones can evoke strong feelings and memories.
  • Sharing personal experiences can be healing and empowering.
  • Childhood trauma can have lasting effects, but healing is possible.
  • Closure is a complex concept that varies for each individual.
  • Celebrating the lives of loved ones helps in the grieving process.
  • It's important to acknowledge both the pain and the joy in memories.
  • Listener participation can create a supportive community.
