What if your environment, not your willpower, was the real game-changer? In this episode, Coach Steve teaches athletes how to “make it obvious” — the first law of behavior change from Atomic Habits. Learn how to design your locker, your gear, and your routines so success is automatic.
Today’s Action Step:
Visualize your ideal environment. If I walked into your room or locker, could I see your goals? Put cues where they’re visible — journal on your desk, stretching band by your bed, gear by the door.
Eliminate confusion. If you want to eat clean, don’t buy junk. If you want to train more, make it easy to start.
Stack cues. Attach your habit to an existing one. “After breakfast, I stretch for five minutes.” The more specific your cue, the stronger your consistency.
