Welcome to Tokyo Shishi.

Set out on a journey that spans millennia to explore what the land of Israel means for the Jewish people through the delicious lens of food.

Join me, Melissa, here in the heart of Tokyo with my Israeli guests.

We dive deep into heroic tales of courage, heartbreak, and the survival of Jewish communities and families scattered throughout the world and the treasure of returning home.

Explore with us the foods that connect ancient paths to our Tokyo Friday night feast, shishi.

 Let’s dig in!
