Hi! I’m Allie Signorelli and I am LIVING with young onset Parkinson’s disease - something I thought I was too young to have. There are no rules for who gets a disease like this one and so there are no rules about what we talk about here. Sometimes it’s brain health, sometimes we talk about Bravo, and often we talk about Bean, the rescue mutt that rules my life. I might not have been too young to get Parkinson’s, but I am way too young to give up on life. Join me for the journey!
Join me for a laugh and sometimes a cry an even a few battlecries. This pod is meant to be feisty, fun and and a look at fighting back against this and other diseases. Turns out, I wasn’t too young to get Parkinson’s in my 40s, but you better believe I’m too young to give up on my fabulous life. Join me for this journey!

Join me in a conversation with my buddy Dr. Richard Isaacson who made me laugh so hard during this conversation - who knew geniuses where so funny! Dr. I and I talk about Parkinson's, brain health and prevention, memory and nutrition and our days as youngens at Northwestern (where I attended and he visited apparently but I didn't know it!).
Dr. Isaacson is a pioneering neurologist, he Founder and Former Director of the Alzheimer’s Prevention Clinic, a first-of-its-kind in the world, at Weill Cornell Medicine/New York Presbyterian, where he was also Assistant Dean of Faculty Development and Associate Professor of Neurology. He runs the research program at The Institute for Neurodegenerative Diseases (IND) in Boca Raton, FL.
Join us for a lot of laughs and some incredibly important information about keeping your brain healthy!
