Today's guest, Jerry Parker, is the founder of Chesapeake Capital Corporation, a global investment manager that grew to become one of the largest CTAs in the United States at its peak AUM of $2.5 billion.

However, Jerry is actually more famous for his career’s earlier days, when he was accepted into the Turtle Program in 1983, a select investment training program developed by a legendary Chicago portfolio manager, Richard Dennis.

Under Dennis’s guidance, Jerry traded proprietary capital for 5 years and was often regarded as one of the best performing student to graduate from Richard’s Turtle Program.
