The afternoon of 26 June 2010 was sweltering in Manhattan. Inside a coffee shop in lower Manhattan, a young woman with distinctive red hair sat across from a man she'd never met. Anna Chapman was nervous. The man claimed to be from the Russian consulate, using coded phrases that only someone from Moscow Center would know.
