He was found guilty of assault by strangulation, assault resulting in serious bodily injury, and kidnapping. These convictions stem from incidents involving a former intimate partner, including a house fire in April 2024 near South Sheridan. The victim, who had attempted to leave Creek, reported both physical and mental abuse throughout their nine-month relationship. Creek was indicted in August 2024 and arrested in December of the same year. Sentencing for Creek will be scheduled at a later date.
