Twelve Days in June - Preview

This is a preview of a five-part series of speculative fiction. Written from the perspective of Lodestar Magazine journalist Max Ezer in 2022, Twelve Days in June examines real events leading up to the 2020 Presidential election and forecasts speculative events beyond.

In the Preview, we learn the drastic stakes of the project: other nations have seen popular protest movements challenge Authoritarian leaders, and have suffered intense crackdowns by their governments. Could the United States of America be next? If so, what might such a scenario realistically look like?
