Yoni Samuel-Siegel is an accomplished education and operations leader with more than twenty years of experience spanning classrooms, non-profits, and charter school networks. He specializes in building systems that strengthen culture, improve efficiency, and drive sustainable growth across K-12 education and related organizations.
Yoni began his career as a middle school Language Arts teacher, where he also coached athletics, led student leadership programs, and facilitated professional development for fellow educators. Those experiences shaped his people-first leadership philosophy, grounded in empathy, collaboration, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
After ten years in the classroom, Yoni joined Citizen Schools Texas as Managing Director, launching two new program sites that doubled student participation across Houston ISD. His leadership connected hundreds of volunteer professionals with classrooms, expanding learning opportunities and narrowing the opportunity gap for middle school students.
At Camden Prep, part of the Uncommon Schools network, Yoni served as the founding Associate Chief Operating Officer. There, he led regional operations, oversaw the launch of two new schools, and managed large-scale facilities projects, including major renovations that ensured students had access to high-quality learning environments.
Most recently, as Chief Operating Officer at Prospect Schools in Brooklyn, NY, Yoni has focused on building consistent systems across campuses, strengthening communication between school and network teams, and delivering multi-year enrollment growth. Under his leadership, Prospect achieved meaningful gains in enrollment, operational consistency, and family experience.
