Summary This is part one of my fascinating conversation with the delightful Emma Henderson MBE, an airline captain and founder of Project Wingman. Emma’s energy, enthusiasm, and humility in all she does are thoroughly infectious.  Among her many achievements, gaining her private and professional pilot’s licences only came after her three children arrived!  Emma became an EasyJet captain and a company flight ambassador, appearing on their television series.   Whilst on furlough during the Covid pandemic, she started the charity Project Wingman, rallying 6,500 airline staff to support the NHS (for which she was awarded an MBE). We discuss Emma's career journey, the importance of mindset and confidence, and the lessons she learned from failure.
