The VII Regional Platform for Disaster Risk Reduction in the Americas and the Caribbean (RP21), the region’s most important disaster risk reduction event, will take place in November 2021. It’s anticipated that more than 2000 people will gather for this meeting, which will be held virtually for the first time with the aim of building more resilient economies in the region. 

In this episode, we reflect on the role of the RP21 in the Americas and the Caribbean.
