In this episode of Unexplained America, your host Lisa will discuss the murder of Dr. Andrew Bagby-this is part 1 of a 2 part episode.

Listener Discretion: Discussion of Murder, Suicide Attempts, and Small touch of Alleged Child Abuse.

On November 5, 2001, Dr. Andrew Bagby tells his supervisor that his on again/off again girlfriend whom he had ended things with just a couple of days ago had shown up at his doorstep that morning. She had driven 15 hours overnight to see him and discuss with him how upset she was that the relationship was over.

Dr. Bagby would leave work at 5 p.m. on November 5, 2001, and would never be seen alive again.

In the episode, I will outline in depth the back ground of this alleged killer, Dr. Shirley Turner. We will explore her life and career; Dr. Bagby's life and career and then the days leading into 11/05/01 and then then afterwards.
