His close collaboration with Nas on the King's Disease series won the legendary rapper his first GRAMMY, while Kim’s sonic fingerprint and deep understanding of West Coast engineering techniques can be heard on Kendrick Lamar's To Pimp a Butterfly, and Nipsey Hussle's Racks in the Middle. Above all else, David is known for his open and transparent approach - regularly putting aspiring producers and engineers on game on his Twitch streams. More recently David has moved more into the production realm.
