Untangling the Mess-a-Round

After our original episode, Ep 6, ELF class conspiracies, we received a correction. Charlotte and I may be having a bit of fun in theses episodes but to be absolutely clear, all credit for the invention of ELEF classes goes to Kara and Randy. We are extremely embarrassed by our original jest that this was a myth. Kieran and I do not take any credit at all for inventing these types of classes or the naming on them We are so grateful that Kara reached out in such a kind and open manner. You are an absolute star and we really do hope that one day we'll be able to have a good chat about teaching swing dance classes.

Ep 40. Back to the Future - The Future of Swing part 1
Part 1 of our series “The Future of Swing” where Charlotte and Jethro chat with experts to figure out what the swing dance community and events will look like in 5, 10, 50 years. Ever heard a little event called the International Lindy Hop Championships? Well Charlotte and Jethro somehow ended up interviewing the founder, CEO and organizer of this event Tena Morales-Armstrong! “Those who do not learn from history are doomed to repeat it”, so to start this series we dive into the revival of the 90s and 2000s to learn about the good and bad and if we can use this knowledge when we look to the future. ILHC has a fantastic online program this year, so we strongly recommend you sign up and join in with the party!https://www.ilhc.com/ Latché Swinghttp://www.latcheswing.fr/ You can support us on Patreonhttps://www.patreon.com/user?u=31754096
