Episode 12 - Running post-childbirth: a conversation for Holly
About a month ago, club member Holly gave birth to her beautiful baby daughter.  Despite that 'constant-state-of-alert' feeling of being a first time parent in those early days, Holly is keen to get back to some form of running.  Understandably, she's wondering how to go about it and keen to learn from the experiences of others. Having put out a question about this on the club's Facebook page, five women who have been through this experience offered to help. And so in a first for 'Up The Poly', we have a six way conversation that explored this issue and in doing so, helped Holly to work out how to approach her post-baby return to running.  My huge thanks to Holly and to Dawn Ridgeway, Kate Dyson, Alison Smith, Steph MacClean-Dann and Christina Tyley for their, at times, very candid advice and sharing of their experiences.
