We are curious and compassionate thinkers and doers. We are diverse in faith, ethnicity, history and spirituality, but aligned in our desire to make a difference for the good. We have a track record of standing on the side of love, justice, and peace. We have radical roots and a history as self-motivated spiritual people: we think for ourselves and recognize that life experience influences our beliefs more than anything. Dismantling Racism Requires Overcoming Capitalism

Dismantling Racism Requires Overcoming Capitalism

Our guest minister, the Reverend Jonathan Rogers, guides us through our process of formally committing ourselves to "dismantle racism in our selves and in our institutions." His sermon traces racism's history on our continent, and how we have historically enshrined it in our governing documents and practices, can give us some clues about its origins and causes.

But before that, you'll hear from a newly-minted member (albeit long-ish-time attendee and volunteer!) on the importance of pledging; plus our readings authored by Rev. Rosemary Bray McNatt and Andrea Hawkins-Kamper.
