"It" started when Marty was around 7. "It" was debilitating and kept him in bed for 2 days. Through elementary school and growing up Marty got so accustomed to "it" that he thought "it" was "just normal." But "it" wasn't. By the grace of God he found a way to function in life but "it" hindered him greatly. He began to pray persistently for Jesus' help. The Holy Spirit inspired him to read a certain People magazine where a Major League baseball player shared his story. "It" sounded much like Marty's. Only this man had a name for "it" - Social Anxiety Disorder. "It" wasn't "just" nerves or anxiety. Learning this truth, and how this man overcame, led Marty to his own breakthrough.
