The Christmas story doesn’t end at the manger — it moves outward to the mission. The first people to encounter the newborn King were ordinary shepherds, yet they became the first evangelists of the Gospel. Their encounter with Christ overflowed into proclamation and praise. As we unwrap the fullness of what Christmas means, we discover that hope is not something we keep to ourselves — it’s something we announce to the world.
Text: Luke 2:17–20 “And when they saw it, they made known the saying that had been told them concerning this child… And the shepherds returned, glorifying and praising God for all they had heard and seen…”
