Determined to see Jesus, he overcame obstacles—including a hostile crowd and his short stature—by climbing a sycamore tree. When Jesus spotted him, He called Zacchaeus by name and invited Himself to his house. This personal encounter transformed Zacchaeus completely, leading him to give half his possessions to the poor and repay fourfold anyone he had cheated. His story teaches us that no obstacle should prevent us from seeking Jesus, and when Jesus enters our lives, everything changes.
