Caring Lives: Experience, Testimonies and Political Demands from Caregivers
Care is central to our lives, societies, and economies. Yet this labor and those who carry it out receive little recognition and support. The International Day of Care and Support is meant to promote discussion on how to address this oncoming care crisis while centering the voices of caregivers and receivers, their needs, and priorities. This episode features testimonies from caregivers, who describe their experiences and reflect on the policies they need to support their work.

Los cuidados son fundamentales para nuestras vidas, sociedades y economías. Sin embargo, esta labor y quienes la llevan a cabo reciben poco reconocimiento y apoyo. El Día Internacional de los Cuidados y el Apoyo pretende promover el debate sobre cómo abordar esta crisis de los cuidados que se avecina, centrando al mismo tiempo las voces de personas cuidadoras y receptoras de los cuidados, sus necesidades y prioridades. Este episodio recoge testimonios de personas cuidadoras, que describen sus experiencias y reflexionan sobre las políticas que necesitan para apoyar su trabajo.
