Looking at our society today, if we are honest, we will admit that addictions are everywhere. There are so many different types: drugs, alcohol, shopping, food, scrolling, binging anything, etc.
But what's the root of all of them?
Are we, perhaps, trying to escape something by not dealing with it? Are we trying to avoid a situation by numbing our minds with one of these many addictions?
Are we trying to escape a relationship with Jesus? Afraid He'll find a crack in the foundation that we need to repair?
What if a few simple - NOT easy - steps could repair the foundation, update the house, and make right your relationship with Jesus so that you can start living the life He wants you to live?
Join my guest, Jon, and me as we talk about his addiction to alcohol - one that started while he was living as an active Christian.
